Sunniside Safeguard Grant Scheme

“The Sunniside regeneration project is transforming this historic part of the city centre and the Sunniside Partnership and its partners are making a substantial investment in improving the appearance, security and popularity of the area.

“Through Back on the Map funding Sunniside Partnership offers the Safeguard Grant scheme that provides financial assistance to owners and occupiers of business and community premises for security works and shop front improvements.

“In the past 12 months grants totalling more than £100,000 have helped improve the security of over 20 properties in the Back of the Map area, which incorporates Sunniside.”
